I recently hade an OGD endoscopy procedure without sedation. I wasn’t quite sure what I had let myself in for.

Staff were excellent throughout, before, during and after the procedure. I will be called in a few weeks' time for a follow-up examination. I think I’ll opt for sedation then.

I had some discomfort and slight anxiety during the scope, but was kept calm by the reassurance of the nurse who was by my side throughout.

Altogether an interesting and very efficient experience. Thank you to all staff involved, you are much appreciated
